Abstract

BaTi4O9 doped with Sr, Zr has been investigated by measuring the data of microwave dielectric properties and the XRD analysis of materials. It was discovered that only for the second phase of dopant, temperature coefficient of dielectric constant are varied essentially. The second phase of dopant is formed and the data of τε has got more obvious characteristics of dopant than other dielectric properties. In solid soluble state BaTi4O9 substituting Sr for Ba and substituting Zr for Ti, SrO-ZrO2 should be the main factor causing the increase of dielectric loss tanδ.
