Abstract

To study the effect of seeker isolation on the stability of control system of Terminal Guided Projectile(TGP), the concept of dimensionless seeker isolation was proposed, and the guidance and control system model of TGP was built. In the simplified model that neglected the dynamic of all parts, TGP position error's analytic solution caused by initial heading error was deduced, and nondimensionalization was carried out. The parameter representing the guidance precision of TGP was defined, and the dynamic of all parts was considered. The real parameter of TGP was introduced. The effect of dimensionless seeker isolation on guidance precision was analyzed. The stable domain of TGP control system on the xB 1 plane was obtained. While x and B 1 exceed the stable domain, the control system of TGP will be instable.
