Abstract

This paper deals with the effect of micro-structural cell size on the tearing property of textiles with Steiner tree structure. Tongue-tearing behaviors of three warp knitted fabrics with different sizes of micro-structural cell are studied experimentally, and the tearing load-displacement curves are obtained, showing that a smaller micro-structural cell results in a more stable structure.
