Abstract

The HTPE polyurethane elastomer films were prepared according to the self designed formulation. The effect of curing agent types on the mechanical and thermal properties of the films has been studied. The results show that when the value of R (n -NCO/n -OH) was 1.05, the mechanical properties of PU elastomer were better. When n T-NCO/n N-NCO was 0.9091, the mechanical properties of PU elastomer achieved optimal, and its thermodynamic properties had no remarkable change comparing to PU elastomer whose n T-NCO/n N-NCO was 0 basically by DSC. Through the use of TDI and N-100 as the mix curing agent, changing the curing systems of polyurethane elastomer, it not only can improve the mechanical properties, but also can keep its original good thermodynamic performance.
