Abstract

Burning rate and burning rate-pressure exponent of nitrate ester plasticized polyethe propellant were studied by content and particle size of oxidizer AP, variety and content of burning rate catalysts, particle size of Al powder, modification of cross linking agent and processing aid. The results show that burning rate of the propellant can be regulated within 7.7-16.7 mm/s (7.0 MPa) and its static burning rate-pressure exponent can reach 0.50, while the minimum value is 0.41.
