Abstract

To study the effect of dynamics of aerodynamically stabilized seeker on laser guided bomb system analysis, a thorough dynamical analysis of aerodynamically stabilized seeker was made. Because the time constant of aerodynamically stabilized seeker is much less than that of the body dynamics, its dynamic model can be greatly simplified. In guided bomb guidance/control digital simulation with the use of the simplified seeker model, simulation time can be reduced without the loss of simulation accuracy.
