Abstract

The scattering of SH-wave by interface multiple co-linear cracks is studied with Green's function. In order to solve the problem, by way of the cutting, a suitable scattering-model is constructed, giving the solution of displacement fields for half space under output-plane harmonic line loading at horizontal surface. With the use of the interface's continuity, the integral equation for determining the external forces can be changed into algebraic equations and solved numerically, so that the crack dynamic stress intensity factors can be determined. As an example, the scattering of SH-wave from only two interface co-linear cracks is discussed. The distributed regularities of the crack DSIF are determined when the medium parameters are altered.
