Abstract

Shift schedule, directly affecting the vehicle's performance, is a key technology of automatic mechanical transmission (AMT) control system. In this paper, a two-parameter shift schedules are proposed for a pure electric bus equipped with AMT to get the optimal dynamic performance and economic performance, then an optimum shift schedule method based on fuzzy logic technique is proposed, the algorithm with Takagi-Sugeno mode is on the basis of velocity, acceleration of the vehicle and throttle opening, which combine the two basic shift schedules and calculate an appropriate modification for shift points in the driving. The model of the vehicle is created by Matlab/Simulink and Cruise. The results of simulation indicate that the dynamic modification schedule can improve the economic performance and dynamic performance effectively for the bus.
