Abstract

This paper presents a dual-circularly polarized 2×2-array antenna with a dual-port sequential rotational feeding network for wearable applications. The antenna utilizes dual-feed patch elements arranged in a 2×2 sequential rotation array fed via a dual-channel feeding network. Dynamic switching between the left-hand circular polarization (LHCP) and right-hand circular polarization (RHCP) is achieved by selectively exciting different ports of the dual-channel feeding network. Results demonstrate that the antenna operates stably across a frequency band ranging from 2.33 GHz to 2.39 GHz, with a 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth spanning 2.375 GHz to 2.395 GHz. The peak gains for the LHCP and RHCP operating states are 9.01 dBi and 9.24 dBi, respectively.
