Abstract

The extraction of Doppler frequency is a key problem in Doppler radar scoring systems. This paper presents a new method for Doppler frequency extraction based on time-frequency analysis and morphological operation. In light of the global change tendency of Doppler frequency, the radar echo signal is transformed into time-frequency map firstly, and then different morphological operators are used to extract the Doppler frequency curve. The experimental results proof the proposed method is effective and can improve the continuity and smoothness of the Doppler frequency curve.
