abstract = "On-line inspection for machining center is one of the key technologies to improve precision and automation. It provides a suit of effective method for the quality inspecting in the machining process of CNC. This paper presents an automatic programming system for on-line inspection. In the system, AutoCAD is selected as the exploitation platform, the integrated system for on-line inspection and CAD is established by using ObjectARX. Manufacturing and inspecting are integrated in the system to fulfill the automatic inspection in the machining process. Results indicate that the measuring time can be reduced greatly; the errors caused by multi-clamping can be avoided; the precision are improved by making use of the on-line inspection system.",
