Abstract

In order to make it convenience to see the real-time competition for all viewers, the remote real-time image transmission and display system were established in the third competition for intelligent vehicles in China. The existing wireless image transmission technologies were analyzed since it is the core technology among the system and COFDM was chosen to build a real-time image transmission system according to requirements. The test experiment was made in a campus environment to validate the designed system. Some improved methods were presented for the real application in the third competition. The result shows that the proposed system performed successfully.
