Abstract

Development and applications of high performance membrane chromatography (HPMC) are introduced. Base membranes, membrane geometries and separations of biomolecules using high performance affinity membrane chromatography (HPAMC), high performance ion-exchange membrane chromatography (HPIEMC) and high performance hydrophobic interaction membrane chromatography (HPHIMC) are reviewed. Enantiomeric separation using HPMC are prospected. Seventy-six references are cited.
