Abstract

A high power density LLC resonant converter design with extra wide input range is presented. The design consideration for the resonant parameters is discussed. Effect of magnetic component design on the converter efficiency is studied by loss anlysis and experiment. The prototype with switching frequency higher than 500 kHz is built to verify the design.
