Abstract

GPS has become a popular technology because of high accuracy and no accumulating error at present in trajectory correction fuze. However, for rolling projectiles, the rolling environment experienced frequently by fuze GPS receiver will make it position inaccurately. Therefore, how to obtain valid signals from the rotation modulated ones is a hard problem. There is a need for a low-cost, effective, fuze mounted GPS receiver to acquire and track signals in rolling conditions. Aiming at the special environments, we have studied a method of jamming assisted correction. It makes use of jamming signal to obtain the roll angle and revolutions; in turn these signals are input to automatic tracing circuit which could adjust the receiving effect in real time.
