Abstract

Real-time video processing is a popular interest of video surveillance. This paper presents the design of airport video aided surveillance system based on DSP+FPGA. DSP is used as the main processor to handle the tracking algorithm, and FPGA finishes the collaboration work. This system can improve the performance of focusing on the contradiction of real-time video processing and real-time tracking. With one improved tracking algorithm, the system meets the need of airport video surveillance better. Experimental results show that the system can stably track the target in real time.
