Abstract

This paper introduces the design and implementation of a W-band Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) Module using Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC). The LNA module uses WR-10 waveguide as the input and output port, and a microstrip-to-waveguide transition structure is designed and measured. The test result indicates: The LNA module has attained a gain more than 23 dB over the frequency range 92∼94 GHz, and the noise figure at room temperature is about 5 dB.
