Abstract
The design of a solar energy end-pumped solid-state laser is given. An adjustable device of two dimensions is built up to follow the sunlight direction and make sure the incident sunlight hit the Fresnel lens normally. The solar rays are converged by the Fresnel combined with a compound parabolic concentrator (CPC). The factors that affected the efficiency of converting sunlight into laser radiation are also discussed.
