Design of a small parallel-plate bounded-wave simulator

Abstract

Based on the parallel-plate bounded-wave simulator design principle, this paper give a kind of small parallel-plate bounded-wave simulator model with typical structure, and do some simulation on its inner space electric-field distribution. Firstly, a small parallel-plate bounded-wave simulator with typical structure is designed. By using the double exponential pulse source as the drive signal and the electromagnetic simulation software, the inner space electric-field distribution of the simulator was analyzed. The simulation result shows that this designed simulator can be used to simulate the ideal single plane wave environment effectively, and has certain instructional significance to kinds of electromagnetic effect experiments.
