Abstract
A precision beam characterization CCD measurement system has been designed fulfilling the ISO standards and guided by beam characterization theory. Based on, theories of laser beam quality measurement the general hardware architecture and key software modules of the measurement system are introduced. Through verification of experimental results, it is seen imperative that a precision beam characterization system must rest upon a quality CCD system with the provision of appropriate data processing software algorithms.
