Design Method of Loitering Munition Weapon System Based on MBSE

Abstract

With the increasing complexity of the system, the development of traditional loitering munition weapon systems cannot meet the requirements of low-cost and efficient development. This article proposes a design method for loitering munition weapon systems based on MBSE, which improves the problems of fuzzy definition and difficult traceability in traditional document based development methods. Based on the characteristics of loitering munition weapon system engineering, a design method for loitering munition weapon systems is proposed, which includes a V-shaped process and forward-design steps. MBSE connects the left and right sides of the V-shaped, and the forward-design steps achieve modeling and mapping from 'Organization- Requirements-Behavior-Composition-Function-Performance'. This design method can demonstrate significant advantages in model management, requirement iteration, and troubleshooting of loitering munition weapons. In the future, MBSE will form a closed whole with other platforms, matching the development process of specific models, and achieving more scientific error correction through simulation verification, forming mature solutions.
