Abstract

This article introduces two novel graphene fragment small molecules using benzene and furan as the extended building units. Both compounds exhibit strong fluorescence emission and small Stokes shifts. They demonstrate excellent solubility and stability in solution, which are crucial attributes for practical applications in optoelectronic devices. These findings highlight the potential of graphene fragments as core units in fluorescent materials and provide valuable insights for the synthesis of novel fluorescent materials.
