Abstract

An double slot antenna coupled detector is presented in this paper. The Schottky diode which owns the cutoff frequency of 650GHz is used in this design. The doubleslot antenna are integrated as the Schottky diodes' pads. Through the calculation and simulation, an optimum double slot model was achieved. The coupled detectors could detect radiation from 8.7GHz to 10.9 GHz. And the radiation pattern matches the simulation results. It could be integrated in the imaging systems. The design ideas and flows can be easily extended to higher frequency detectors such as submillimeter wave.
