Abstract

Based on the gear-shifting quality control of the heavy parallel-series hybrid electric vehicle (PSHEV), through the active speed tuning of the engine and motor of gear-shifting operation components, parameters of reflecting the control quality (clutch or arrester), such as the buffer characteristics and velocities of oil charging and discharging, etc. were designed. Aimed at the evaluating indexes for gear-shifting quality, the multi-objective optimization of the velocity of buffer oil charging and speed error of jointing was carried out. Results show that designed parameters improve the gear-shifting quality significantly. It meets the requirement of the gear-shifting quality indexes. The parameter design and optimization method are proper and effective.
