N2 - Traditional avionics control bus is neither portable nor scalable. The quantity of electronic devices in aircraft is expanding at an exponential rate. How to connect those devices together by a light, fast, scalable bus is a very urgent task. In this paper, we propose a new design and an application of new avionics control bus which combines the advantages of the SPI and FPGA IP-Core. Firstly, the overall structure of this new avionics control bus is put forward. Secondly, some key design points are discussed. Thirdly, the IP-Core examples are present. Finally, the experiment results show that this new avionics control bus is very suitable for aircraft systems which re-quire highly reliability, flexible configurations and compact size.
