Abstract

To improve selection method of information systems in overall planning for enterprise application systems, a decision model based on the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) was proposed to evaluate the application systems. An index system including strategy matching, business support, application foundation, cost and return as primary evaluation factors was established for the model. Evaluation data of core business in overall planning was obtained through fuzzy judgment and it could be used to make quantificational decisions. The research was designed to transfer the decision problem from qualitative decision to quantificational decision which would be favorable to successful implementation of information system in enterprises.
