Abstract

To overcome the shortcoming of serial processing in the traditional design of radar simulation and increase the efficiency of radar simulation, a dataflow-driven general purpose radar simulation framework is introduced. The framework generalizes the necessary steps of common radar processing, and solves the key problems of data registration, double-buffer storage, besides the data competition arbitration, and provides the ability of built-in parallel computation. The framework has already been applied and verified in a large-scale aerial defense radar simulation project.
