Abstract
Steel bars for prestressed concrete have been widely used in China s construction and water conservancy due to their evident characteristics. Current situation at home and abroad of steel bars for prestressed concrete on use of raw materials, smelting process and rolling process was introduced, analyzed and compared. The new technologies of continuous casting-rolling and deep processing were described. The current problems and bottleneck during the development of Chinese steel bars for 'prestressed concrete were analyzed. The future development of Chinese steel bars for prestressed concrete was analyzed.
