Abstract

The authors regret that an error was found in Fig. 7c of the above article. The confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM) images of live/dead stained S. aureus on LDH and LDH/Butyrate samples were duplicated. The corrected Fig. 7 of this article is inserted below. This correction of the figure does not affect the results and conclusions made in the original paper. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
