Abstract

In the preparation of this manuscript, we omitted to cite and discuss a related paper of ours that was under evaluation at the Chinese Journal of Aeronautics, where it was later published in the work of Zhang et al. That work described an adaptive fixed-time nonsingular sliding mode guidance law for the terminal-angle constrained guidance problem, where the singularity was resolved by using the saturation function. Following by this, a different adaptive fast fixed-time sliding mode guidance law using a piecewise function was proposed for the same problem in this work, where the similar kinematic engagement model and the basic theory of fast fixed-time convergence were based on the work of Zhang et al. Sections of text from the CJA paper, including Section 2, Lemma 1 in Section 3.1, and paragraphs 2 to 4 in Section 4, were also reused without appropriate attribution. The authors apologize for this error.
