Abstract

Correction to: Nature Aginghttps://doi.org/10.1038/s43587-025-00860-y, published online 20 May 2025. In the version of this article initially published online, there was an error in Fig. 5a, where in the bottom-right panel (P90; Pax2-HuR^−/−), the original image was incorrectly sourced from the cochlear specimen of the Atoh1-HuR^−/− mouse and has now been replaced with the correct image. Also, in Fig. 7m, in the middle and bottom images of the third column (IHC; GNAI3), the Atoh1-HuR^−/− and Pax2-HuR^−/− images were transposed. For comparison, the original figures are available as Supplementary information accompanying this amendment. The figures have been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
