Abstract
A concrete random aggregate model that includes matrix, rock-rubble and ITZ is established based on micromechanical principle. The model is validated by comparing the numerical results with Hanchak test data. The effects of shape and distribution of rock-rubble on projectile penetration are investigated, and the concrete inner (especially ITZ) destruction mechanism is analyzed from microscopic view.
