Abstract

It was difficult to conduct assembly process control for manual assembly product due to its random products'assembly process and lack of production steps. In order to deal with this problem, a new computer-aided assembly process control method for manual assembly was put forward. This method was made up of three parts, creation of assembly process flow chart, the integrated display of assembly information and collection of the assembly data on production spots, assembly flow control and assembly scheduling monitoring. Workflow management technology was introduced in this method which was used to transform the discrete assembly process control of complex products into the assembly-flow control of products, so as to realize unified assembly data management in scheduling, technical state and assembly quality. At the same time it provided an effective method for manual assembly products'assembly process control.
