Abstract

Change rules of heat dissipating capacity for a certain strengthened diesel engines were investigated. Through mutual coupling computation between the whole engine performance simulation and the temperature field simulation of heated components (piston, cylinder head, cylinder sleeve, valve), temperature field, heat-flux distribution as well as the whole engine heat dissipating capacity change rules before and after uprating the engine were calculated. Temperature field change tendencies, radiation proportion change rules as well as the reliable problems possibly appeared were inquired into. Alleviated or solved measures were proposed.
