Abstract

This letter presents a compact dual-polarized self-decoupling antenna array for 6G applications. Starting from a horizontal-polarized antenna (HPA) array with parasitic stripes for self-decoupling, the design reuses these structures to enable vertical polarization, forming a cross-arranged, shared-aperture configuration. Two types of vertical-polarized antennas (VPAs) are introduced to ensure self-decoupling across the array. A 1 × 8 HPA and 1 × 7 VPA array is fabricated and tested, demonstrating co- and cross-polarization isolation better than 22 dB and 21 dB over the 14.2 GHz to 15.0 GHz band (5.5%). The array supports beam scanning up to ±60° (HPA) and ±30° (VPA) with gain fluctuation less than 3.4
