Abstract
The frame clock recovery and demultiplexing in optical time division multiplexing (OTDM) communication were discussed. The 10 GHz optical pulses were multiplexed to 40 Gb/s signals using the optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) and actively mode-locked fiber ring laser (AMLFL). The demultiplexing of the ultra-short pulses at high speed to each channel in the time domain were discussed.
