Abstract

Chaos is suitable for private communication because of its intrinsic stochastic property. Chaos Masking, Chaos Shift Keying, Chaos Parameter Modulation and Chaos Symbol Sequence Spectrum Spreading are currently the four most interesting chaos applications in communication. This article analyzes chaos parameter modulation and demodulation. Each chaos parameter is analyzed as a state variable with chaos synchronization and parameter demodulation achieved by state feedback. Chaotic communication systems using this method have high frequency efficiency and are suitable for security communication applications. A chaos parameter modulation and demodulation system was then designed based on Chua's circuit. Simulation shows that this method is efficient.
