Abstract

A rectangular cell with the given boundary condition is cut from doubly period inclusion problems. Based on the single-domain and the sub-domain boundary element methods, numerical solution of the rectangular cell can be obtained. Following this, effective elastic properties for various doubly periodic inclusion problems can be calculated. Numerical results show the rightness and effectiveness of the present method.
