Abstract

The non-monotonic problem exited in information fusion systems is solved. The non-monotonic reasoning method is introduced, which is realized by ATMS (assumption based truth maintaining system). The method can process insufficient information with flexibility and non-monotonic behavior for information fusion system. In the simulation test, The system manifests its ability to deal with the insufficient and contradictory information, which partly solves the decision dilemma brought by the insufficient information in battle situations. The information fusion target recognition system can process the information in battle situation fast with flexibility.
