Abstract

Three typical application scenarios of novel multiple access (NMA) technologies in 5G, such as eMBB (enhanced mobile), URLLC (ultra-reliable and low-latency communications) and mMTC (massive machine type communications), are presented in detail in this paper. Also the target requirements in different application scenarios are briefly described with explicit examples. It can be seen from the evaluation results that the implementation of NMA technologies has a beneficial effect on satisfying the various requirements in mentioned scenarios.
