Abstract

Studies the use of virtual instrument technique in gas-solid flow parameter measurement. Compared with traditional instruments, virtual instrument technique has its advantages. Taking the online monitoring system of pulverized coal pipeline mass flow rate measurement in a thermal power plant as an example, the system organization of the virtual instrument and software design is discussed. The design and realization of the main interface of the system, signal processing and analysis, as well as data manipulation remote control are given. Virtual instrument technique is useful in reducing the cycle time spent upon the monitoring system. The system is easy to improve and upgrade, thus making it to have bright prospects in further applications.
