Abstract
The fast simulation and validation are the preconditions of implementation of SAR real time imaging processing system, and also the inevitable design way of precise attack weapons based on SAR system for terminal precise guidance. According to stochastic signal theory, the characteristic of SAR imaging system's computation error is analyzed in this paper. A kind of effective, fast system simulation and validation method based on system description language is studied to make the system's functions and performances to be validated and the system realization architecture to be explored in the beginning of system design. Furthermore, based on this method, a comparison between single precision floating point and fixed point operations for RD SAR imaging algorithm can be carried out by using System C.
