Abstract

The chelate fiber had strong adsorbability and high selectivity to metal ions, and could be used in the pretreatment of sample for spectral detection. In recent years, the combination of chelate fiber and spectral analysis for the preconcentraiton, separation and detection had been paid much attention. In order to enhance the adsorbability and selectivity, many novel chelate fibers with different structures were developed. In this paper, the adsorbability and selectivity of novel chelate fibers developed since 1990s to various metal ions and the preconcentraiton, separation and detection methods of various metal ions by the combination of chelate fiber and spectral analysis were reviewed. It provided basis for the research of preconcentraiton and detection methods of metal ions in industrial wastewater, natural mineral and natural water samples.
