Abstract

The research on the interaction between inner and outer regions of rough wall turbulence scalar pulsation and near-wall prediction models is an important topic, but few researchers have studied it. In this paper, the interaction of scalar pulsations in the inner and outer regions of rough wall turbulence at high Reynolds numbers is studied. It is found that the transformation formula for predicting model parameters is still applicable in rough wall turbulence. In this paper, the near-wall scalar prediction model based on the minimum flow element and the transformation formula is applied to rough wall turbulence. It is found that the predicted results of the model are in good agreement with the numerical simulation results of the full-sized channel.
