Abstract

In order to gain the peak pressure and pressure distribution of shock wave within a certain range of several hundred MPa to several GPa in the near-field underwater explosion, and make up the imperfections which perform in measuring range, precision and high cost of experiments for other types of sensors, such as quartz piezoelectric sensors, small resistance (R<5 Ω) manganin sensor, the large resistance (R=50 Ω) manganin sensor was used to measure the shock wave peak pressure under different distance and explosive dosage with the scope of the scaled distance range smaller than 0.3.The results show that the peak pressure measured by this type of manganin pressure sensors can be well consistent with empirical formula calculation results, and its measurement precision and anti-interference ability can well meet the design requirements, thus it can be used in measurement of underwater explosive shock wave at range of several hundred MPa to several GPa.
