Abstract
New light structural materials plays an important role in the development of aerospace and defense-related high-tech weapons and equipment. Titanium alloy with excellent comprehensive performance of materials as a new type of lightweight metal structure material is widely used in aerospace and military hardware. Comprehensive material properties of titanium alloy were introduced, and the emphasis was put on the application of titanium alloy in aerospace and military hardware. The application of titanium alloy in aircraft, space and military hardware was successively enumerated. In view of the recent research and development situation of titanium alloy both domestic and foreign, the development trend of titanium alloy was discussed. It was predicted that the application of titanium alloy in aerospace and military hardware would maintain steady rise.
