Abstract

Through the analysis of inertial instruments output error, the basic principles of automatically compensation of single-axis rotary inertial navigation system have been introduced. By analyzing the principle of the gyro drift error, we've got the conclusion that with the rotational speed getting bigger, gyro error becomes smaller. By making use of fiber optic gyro strapdown inertial navigation system to do the single-axial rotation experiment, the conclusions of the above analysis are confirmed. The results provide a basis for single-axis rotation speed and a necessary reference for the development of two-axis rotation system.
