Abstract

The drive control system of the permanent magnetic direct current (PMDC) motor with the enhanced magnetism windings used in the electric transit bus is developed. The mathematics model of inductive electromotive force, electromagnetism torque and speed applied by control system is established from the theories and its correctness is proved by the experimental data. Because of big starting torque, the newly drive motor can supply a greater acceleration. The acceleration control system is set up and Root Locus Design is applied to analyze and design the acceleration differential feedback control system. The result of simulation show that the newly drive motor control system has extraordinary response characteristic and adjustable performance. Experiments of vehicle running show that the drive control system's antijamming ability is strong and the adjustable performance is fast and smooth, it can meet the demand of power characteristic very well.
