Abstract

A new polyoxotungstate cluster [W₈O₁₉L₃(acac)₄] (L =^-O(CH₂)₃S(CH₂)₃O ^-; acac = acetylacetonate), was synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of the octatungstate cluster exhibits a novel unprecedented polyoxotungstate mode.
