abstract = "An omnidirectional Wi-Fi 6E inverted-F antenna (IFA) suitable for placing near the hinge of the laptop computer with metal housing is presented. The antenna comprises a 2-port Multiple Input-Multiple Output (MIMO) system with a T-shape isolation element, incorporating a 0.8 mm FR4 substrate with a total size of 88mm × 12mm, and is capable of covering the 2.4 GHz (2400-2480 MHz)/5 GHz (5150-5850 MHz) and the recent Wi-Fi 6E (5925-7125 MHz) frequency bands. The proposed antenna provides a good omnidirectional radiation pattern (varφ=90) at the desired frequency. Furthermore, the antenna demonstrates total efficiencies greater than 66.5\% and 64.9\% for the lower frequency range of 2300-2700 MHz, and greater than 72.1\% and 78\% over the higher frequency range of 4900-7125 MHz for antenna 1 element and antenna 2 element, respectively.",
